Hi, I'm Carrie!
Since the birth of my own children, I have continued to grow more passionate about maternal health, physiologic birth and compassionate postpartum care. In early 2021 I decided to embark on making the doula dream a reality for my life after leaving the legal field after 15+ years. I received my DONA Birth Doula Certification in 2022 and haven't looked back. My deepest desire is to make the birthing person feel supported and empowered through labor and beyond. I attend hospital births, birth center births and home births all across San Diego county. I especially have a passion for VBACs, which was developed after my own successful VBAC, and want to help others achieve the same gift I did. I love giving evidenced-based education and being your biggest cheerleader!
When I’m not attending births, I love being around the beaches of San Diego or camping with my husband and two rambunctious kids. I’m also a serious lover of chocolate and perfectly cooked bacon. So there’s always an easy way to make me smile, aside from babies, because babies are the best thing in life!
